Visiting the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany
This month I had the opportunity to visit the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart (Zuffenhausen), Germany. Opened in 2009, this is a must stop if you are a fan of Porsche or simply beautiful design.
I booked a 1 hour guided tour about a month in advance, and definitely recommend it. Even better, if you are able to book much farther out in advance, you can also sign up for a guided tour of the factory. I would love to come back and do that, but there wasn’t available space when I was visiting this time, and those tours looked like they were booked at least six months out.
These are just some of the dozens of photos I took on the tour. I’d guess there were well over 100 cars on display there, and the building itself was a design masterpiece that really did justice to the cars. The iconic Porsche shape is one of the all time great designs - truly taking something industrial and making it an iconic, immediately recognizable work of art.
