Visiting the Lamy Flagship Store in Heidelberg, Germany

This past week I had a chance to visit the Lamy flagship store while on business in Heidelberg. It is right in the heart of the main shopping street in old town and is definitely worth a visit. It is Lamy’s only dedicated store in the world.

There was a very friendly salesman there to help. The first thing I asked him was whether there were any pens or other items to buy that you can only get in the store. He said yes….

They had this Lamy AL-start with the Heidelberg branding on the cap. They also had one other with the outline of Heidelberg’s skyline on the camp. While it is a small thing, I think it is such a nice touch when a brand has exclusive items to sell in its own store. It was an instant buy for me and is something I will always cherish and remember the store and my visit to Heidelberg by.
